OP LARKIN - 2 x Rape investigations
Two year anniversary appeal for information relating to the rape of two vulnerable females, first in May 2020 and second in June 2024. A reward of up to £10,000 is being offered for any information received directly through the independent charity Crimestoppers that leads to the conviction of a suspect for these offences. Police are appealing for information regarding the identity of the male pictured in the images who was captured on local CCTV in June 2024 that they wish to speak with.
Details of Incident
Detectives are investigating the rape of two females.
In June 2024 a vulnerable woman was approached by a male in Sewell Road, Abbey Wood, SE2 where the offence took place. Further enquiries have linked the suspect to another rape involving a separate vulnerable female near the Thames Path in Thamesmead, SE28 in May 2020.
CCTV footage obtained in June 2024 has captured an image of a man that we wish to speak to. We encourage anyone who has any information, however small, to please come forward.
A reward of up to £10,000 is being offered for information leading to the identification, arrest and prosecution of the suspect involved in these offences.
