Detectives are investigating the murder of Messiah Robb which took place near the the junction of Hither Green Lane approximately 3.20pm on Tuesday 28th October 2025.

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward with any information that could assist the investigation. 

Detective Chief Inspector Craig Magee, from the Met’s Specialist Crime unit, added: “This was a senseless attack that took a much-loved man away from his family, friends and community. Our thoughts are with them at this unimaginably difficult time.

“Although we are in the early stages of our investigation, I can assure you that my team of detectives are working at pace to identify those responsible for this senseless attack.

“This attack took place in broad daylight and we are seeking witnesses who may have seen the attack or been in the Hither Green area between 15:00hrs and 15:30hrs or know anything about the incident. Please do not hesitate to contact us.
