Staffordshire Police is working closely with the University Hospitals of North Midland Trust and the Dudley NHS Foundation Trust on its ongoing investigation 'Operation Anzu'.
The force is looking into concerns about the appropriateness of care provided by an individual who worked in the NHS and previously worked at both Royal Stoke University Hospital and Russells Hall Hospital in Dudley. This individual no longer works at either hospital.
The hospitals have written to a number of families about the care they or their family member received.
