OPERATION REUNION
At 1600 hours Tuesday 13/10/1998 Police searched 48 Backstone Road, Consett and the body of the Victim Emma PEECH born 28/07/1974 was discovered. At 1830 hours 13/10/1998 a Major Incident Room was set up at Consett Police Station.
Details of Incident
At1600 hours, Tuesday 13/10/1998, Police searched 48 Backstone Road, Consett and the body of the Victim, Emma PEECH, born 28/07/1974, was discovered in the front bedroom of the address. There was evidence that a violent struggle had taken place.
The Victim had last been seen leaving The Pontop View Hotel, Front Street, Dipton, on the night of Saturday 10/10/1998.
