The City of London Police Fraud Operations National Lead Force Unit are currently investigating the 79^th Group who confirm they are a fast growing asset management company. This company is believed to be offering loan notes to investors with a high interest return over a fixed period. The company state to investors funds are used for real estate, wealth, natural resources and aviation.

Please be aware that there are a number of 'recovery rooms' frauds who approach investors to recover funds lost by fraud . The VCU have sent communications in relation to recovery rooms and have provided advice to prevent investors from losing further funds. If you are considering enlisting the services of a Claims Management Company, please ensure you carry out due diligence and ensure they are legitimate. The company should be registered with either the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) or Solicitors Regulatory Authority (SRA). They should not request any payment for their services upfront.
