Operation Whitby Appeal for Information

Detectives are appealing for information after a 16 year old boy was fatally stabbed in Peterborough.


Details of Incident

Sixteen-year-old Baye Bireme Fall was stabbed to death at just before 7pm on Sunday 12 April 2026.
The attack happened in Riseholme, near the Orton Centre, in Peterborough, and Baye was pronounced dead just before 9.30pm that evening.
A murder investigation was launched and Emidas Krutkevicius, 18, of Garton End Road, Peterborough, and a 15-year-old boy from Peterborough, who cannot be named for legal reasons, have been charged with murder.
Both teenagers have been remanded and are due to stand trial at Huntingdon Crown Court in October 2026.
