Witness Appeal

We are urging members of the public who have not yet spoken to us to come forward with information after a woman was raped in Oldbury

Details of Incident

On Tuesday 9th September, a woman in her 20s was attacked in the Tame Road area at around 8.30am.

We again appeal to anyone in the area who may have seen two white men. One had a shaved head, was of heavy build, and was reported to be wearing a dark coloured sweatshirt and had gloves on.

The second man was reportedly wearing a grey top with a silver zip.

If you were in the area before and after 8.30am then we need to hear from you.

We want it to specifically request people to submit their dashcam footage if they were travelling along Tame Road, Oldbury between Queensway  junction at the Kings Community Church and Roundhills Road by the Full Moon Public House between 07:00 hrs and 09:00 hrs on Tuesday 9th  September.

Crimestoppers which is independent of the police, is supporting this investigation by offering a £20,000 reward for information they exclusively receive that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the rape.

Anyone who has any information about the incident can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at crimestoppers-uk.org.
