Murder of person believed to be Yvonne Kemp
GMP have launched a murder investigation after the discovery of a body on 19th October 2026 at an address in Moss Side.
Details of Incident
At approximately 1352 hours on 19th October 2026, Police were called to an address on Crondell Street, Moss Side for a concern for welfare. On entering the address police found the body of a female believed to be Yvonne Kemp, she had serious injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A partially dressed female was chased by police from the address and detained a short time later. The 26 year old female has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Police enquiries are on-going to understand the full circumstances of the incident.
