Murder in Rye Lane, SE15 – Op Deartor
Detectives have launched a murder investigation after an 18-year-old man died in Peckham Rye.
Police responded to reports of an assault on Rye Lane, near the junction of Heaton Road, at 19:09hrs on Saturday, 14 February. A man received treatment from police and the London Ambulance Service at the scene, before being transferred to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The victim’s next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
