OP DOVECOT – Appeal re fatal stabbing on Askew Rd
Detectives are appealing for any information from members of the public or residents who may have witnessed or heard events on 18th August 2026 on Askew Road, W12. Also, anyone who may have recorded any part of the incident on their mobile phone, or has CCTV or dash-cam footage is asked to preserve it and supply it to the police as part of the investigation. Please also make contact if you witnessed or heard anything but have not yet spoken to officers.
Police are appealing for information following an incident on the morning of 18th August 2026.
On Tuesday, 18th August 2026, police were called at 0819hrs to a residential address on Askew Road, W12.
MPS officers attended the scene alongside the London Ambulance Service and HEMS.
Two people were treated at the scene for stab injuries.
Despite the best efforts of the emergency services, a female at the scene sadly died.
Her next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
A 48 year old male was arrested at the scene and remains in police custody.
Detectives are appealing for anyone who has information to make contact with them.
