Met launches investigation following a fatal stabbing in Thornton Heath.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses to come forward with any information that could assist the investigation.
Police are appealing for information relating to the fatal stabbing of Matheus Dos Santos Mori near the junction of Livingstone Road, CR7 and Speke Road, CR7 shortly before 05:00 AM on Thursday 9th July 2026.
Police were called to the scene at 04:52 AM, following reports of an assault.
Three men were arrested the same day and have since been charged with murder.
The suspects were riding mopeds; some were wearing helmets and some had knives. A white Ford Transit van has also been linked to the incident.
Detectives are keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the area of Speke Road, Livingstone Road, Hythe Road and Moffat Road in CR7 between 04:15 AM and 05:15 AM and saw or heard anything that might assist the investigation.
