Suffolk Constabulary-Appeal for Information
The Joint Norfolk and Suffolk Major Investigation Team are investigating a stabbing that occurred outside McDonalds in Ravenswood Avenue Ipswich around 7.30pm on Wednesday 13th June 2018
Details of Incident
Officers are continuing to follow various enquiries and these will continue in the coming days. Officers are treating it as a targeted attack and believe that the people involved were known to each other. Police are not directly linking it to the murder on Saturday 2nd June 2018 or to the stabbing in the early morning of Monday 11th June 2018.
Senior Investigating Officer Detective Supt. Marina Ericson of the Major Investigation Team said 'we know members of the community will be sitting on very valuable information which could help us. Now is the time to do the right thing and to talk to us and give us that information or speak to Crimestoppers anonymously. This was yet another appalling and shocking attack on a young man, so we urge people who have some knowledge of this incident to come forward and speak to us.
Officers are particularly appealing for anyone with CCTV, dash cams or mobile phone footage who were in the area of McDonalds, Nacton Road, Ipswich between 7pm and 8pm on Wednesday 13th June 2018 to make contact.
