Norfolk Police - Death of Edmund 'Jan' Hogan

The Joint Norfolk and Suffolk Major Investigation Team are investigating the circumstances around the death of Edmund 'Jan' Hogan. Jan's body was found in his flat in Basil Drive, Downham Market, on 23.05.2010.

Details of Incident

Jan's body was found in his flat in Basil Drive, Downham Market, on 23.05.2010 and detectives from the Major Investigation Team carried out an investigation into the case at the time.  However, an inquest, held on 25.01.2011, saw the Coroner recording his death as an open verdict.

Last year (Tuesday 23.05.2017) the family of Jan Hogan joined officers in renewing their appeal for witnesses in relation to the circumstances surrounding their dad's death, with Detective Inspector Stuart Chapman, from the Joint Norfolk and Suffolk MIT, confirming that there were further lines of enquiry being progressed.

Today (Tuesday 17.04.2018), continuing his appeal from last year, DI Chapman added:  "While our investigation into the circumstances of Jan Hogan's death has led to two arrests, we would still like to hear from anyone who may have information regarding it, even if you have spoken to us before."
