Report of assault on woman in Nonsuch Park, Ewell

Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses after reports that a woman was attacked in Nonsuch Park in Ewell on the evening of Sunday 5th September. The woman was running through the park at around 7pm when she was attacked by an unknown man in a wooded area within the park.

This incident relates to a report that a woman was assaulted in Nonsuch Park in Ewell on the evening of Sunday 5th September.  The woman was running through the park around 7pm when she was attacked by an unknown man.  The attack took place in a wooded area within the park.  The suspect is described as a white male, between 20-40 years of age, wearing a dark hoody.  Detective Chief Inspector Charlotte Rimmer, who is leading the investigation, said: “A full and thorough investigation is underway and we are making a number of enquiries.  I would like to reassure the local community that we are doing everything we can to establish what has happened and identify the suspect."
