Attempted murder Energen Close – Operation Scothay

Police are appealing for information regarding the attempted murder of 4 people, including a 2 yr old boy, on Wednesday 3rd June 2020.

Details of Incident

Metropolitan Police are appealing for information relating to the attempted murder of 4 people, including a 2 yr old boy.

At approximately 9.45pm on Wednesday 3rd June 2020 members of the public reported hearing gunshots in Energen Close, Harlesden, NW10.

Police and Paramedics arrived at the scene and found 4 people shot. A 2yr old boy, the Mother of the child and two men in their late teens. The 2 yr old had been shot in the head and his Mother shot multiple times whilst she shielded him from further harm.

Witness accounts suggest that the gunman was on foot. The enquiry team believe the gunman left the scene on a moped. It remains unclear however whether these people were involved in the incident or not.
