Suffolk Constabulary-Murder Daniel Saunders

The Joint Norfolk and Suffolk Major Investigation Team are investigating the circumstances around the death of Daniel Saunders who was attacked in Turin Street Ipswich on 16/12/2018


Details of Incident

Officers were called to Turin Street Ipswich just after 1.50pm 16/12/2018 to reports that a man had been stabbed.  Ambulance personnel were also in attendance but the victim, a man in his 30's, sadly died at the scene.  This man has now been formally identified as Daniel Saunders, originally from Surrey.  Following initial Police enquiries it is believed that the victim was attacked in an alleyway behind houses in Turin Street which is also behind houses fronting on to Wherstead Road.

Detectives are appealing for anyone who was in the vicinity of Turin Street, Kenyon Street and Wherstead Road during the afternoon of 16/12/2018 and witnessed any suspicious persons or activity to make contact.  This includes anyone driving through the area who has a dash cam fitted to their vehicle.
