Murder in Boughton Under Blean 13th March 2024

Police are investigating the death of a man in The Street, Boughton-under-Blean on Wednesday 13th March 2024


Details of Incident

Investigators have made three further arrests after a man died in an incident near Faversham.

Patrols were called to a report of a disturbance in The Street, Boughton-under-Blean at 10.39pm on Wednesday 13 March 2024.

Officers attended along with South East Coast Ambulance Service and a man in his 30s was found with injuries consistent with a stabbing. He was confirmed deceased near the scene.

Three men, aged between 39 and 43, were arrested in connection with the incident and Kent Police’s Serious Crime Directorate started a murder investigation .

Later on the same day, two further suspects, men aged 37 and 42, were detained at a property in the village and taken into custody. A third man, aged 33, was also arrested in Canterbury.

Officers remain at the scene completing enquiries and engaging with the local community. The Street remains closed in the centre of the village and residents will see additional patrols in the area.

Detectives are continuing to appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has information, CCTV or dashcam footage from the area around that time, to contact Kent Police
