A murder investigation has commenced after a 17 year old teenager was stabbed in West Park, Wolverhampton.

A murder investigation has commenced after a 17 year old teenager, Harleigh Hepworth, was stabbed in West Park, Wolverhampton.
Police were called to the scene by paramedics just before 4.30pm on 7th March 2024. Sadly, the victim was declared dead a short time later.
We are in the process of reviewing CCTV and carrying out other enquiries to help us establish who was responsible.
We are keen to identify any witnesses and also any mobile phone footage of the incident, the offenders or the victim from anyone who was in the park between 1500 and 1630 hours on 7th March 2024.
