Murder of Tanyaradzwa Julius Matera at an address on Great Cheetham Street, Salford.
Details of Incident
Tanyaradzwa Julius Matera was reported missing on 24th October 2023 after he had not been seen for several days at his place of residence. GMP recorded ‘Julius’ as a high-risk missing person and began an investigation to locate him.
As a result of information received on Wednesday 6th December 2023 police searched an area of rough ground and dense shrubbery at Broughton Cricket and Rugby Club - situated behind Great Cheetham Street West, Salford. The human remains of an adult male were recovered at this location. This male has now been identified as Tanyaradzwa Julius Matera.
Greater Manchester Police are appealing for anyone with any information to come forward. This includes CCTV, Dashcam, ring doorbell footage and mobile phone footage in relation to any of the above.
